Ahoy there!

I am a 5th year doctoral student at UCSC in the Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Department. I study foraging behavior and sensory morphology in fish...with a special focus on moray eels! You can take a peek at some of my projects (and the eels) on the Research Page. 

But none of those projects would have been able to happen without the hard work and amazing enthusiasm of undergraduate researchers, so please bee-bop over to the Mentorship Page to see the fun humans I get to work with!  

When not doing research for my dissertation, you can often find me being busy as a Graduate Student Instructor or Teaching Assistant. The courses and materials I have put together can be found on the Teaching Page.
